    red tail boa
so long story short I paid $100 for a 2year old 4.5 foot red tail boa and a month after I got her she has babies that was over a month ago and now she has 2 lumps near her rear end.

anyone have any ideas what this could be?

A little hard reading that sentence. The boa you bought had babies, and now has lumps near its vent? Is that what you are saying?

    Have pictures of the lumps?

How long ago did she have babies?

Boas give live birth, so saying she's "egg bound" is probably the wrong term. But if she wasn't able to release all the young - or if they didn't all develop correctly inside her - this could be what you're seeing. I would soak her in warm water, massaging gently around the areas to see if you can ease those lumps out. Otherwise, get her to a vet.
