My Teacher's Garter Snake

Sorry for the bad photos, but his name is Otis Jeffrey Baylor, and he's approximately 3.5 feet long, and is fed on Tuesdays 5 small goldfish and has a heat lamp and probably aspen bedding. We handle him for 5-10 minutes every day and my teacher has had Otis for about 10 years. He's cute and well behaved, and enjoys having humans warm blood on him, as he likes to sit above my wrist on that big vein there.

The OP is twelve years old - I would imagine they meant something like "body heat."
I have a lot of respect for a teacher that keeps these animals - especially one that tries to teach their students not to fear the animals, as well as how to care properly for them.

You knew what I meant, I didnt mean literal blood, the warm blood that runs through veins, sorry not to be specific :rolleyes: body heat
