    Question about feeding
I bought a smaller rat then usual (yes I feed live) because he refused the last appropriately sized one I got him. And he ate it right away. Should I buy another smaller rat to feed him if he still looks hungry and hunting. Or should I just go back to his regular sized rat the next time he is ready to eat?

I would stick with the appropriate size prey and start with your next feeding.

How often do you feed? Sometimes some of mine prefer a smaller pray. I figure it's better for them to eat something than nothing at all. How much does your BP weighs?

    Re: Question about feeding
I've had this happen once. Seemingly refused to eat, but a small rat vs medium rat was taken within second. She did this on and off. I found 2-3 meals of the smaller rats would get her back on track eating an appropriate size rat. Not really sure what causes this I however don't think it is cause for concern. If you feel he is overly active at night (sometimes can indicate he may be hungry, but not always) then i'd say go back to the larger rat. If hes comfortable, stick with it a few more feeds and observe his behavior.
