First Shed (with us) ?'s

I've been looking around the forum since yesterday and haven't quite found what I'm looking for.... I might have missed it if it's here but I have a couple questions.

So our guy shed for the first time over the weekend and all went well, as far as I know, but I did notice a couple of things.
1. He has some lighter scales on the top of his head, is this a problem or will he rub these off on his own http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f2...ps5bfc9ff7.jpg

2. I noticed his "rear" looks swollen.... it might just be me but I never noticed it looking this way before.

Any help is appreciated, I am probably just over reacting but I'd rather be safe than sorry!

Pic #1 looks like stuck shed, you need to increase his humidity, especially when he's shedding.

Pic #2 is called "sausage butt", it usually means he has to poop. I don't handle mine when they look like that because they will let fly wherever, whenever...

Thanks! I thought that's what the swelling was so he hasn't been disturbed since his "photo shoot" as fort he stuck shed, it doesn't hurt him right?

Not that little amount. With a damp rag allow the snake to crawl through it and it should come right off. Dont pull it off. And don't do this until it goes to the bathroom. That is gonna be a load.

The other option is to leave that little patch of shed alone. That's what I would probably do for now.
