    Records?
How many of you keep records of feeding/shedding etc. I read you should do this and I am getting hooked on the hobby big time now thinking of getting a second morph. (Could uses some help choosing too either super lesser pastel or an albino can't decide). For those who do keep records how do you do it? Should I make an elaborate spread sheet or should I just use like a notebook?

I only have 1 BP, so i just use a notebook. As for the new morph, I would go for an albino (although i don't know much about morphs, i just like albinos)

Index cards and my surface tablet. But mostly just my index cards. Feed, weight and shed. Plus a date of birth card. So four cards per snake. Hope that helped. I know some people use dedicated programs on their computer. But for a small collection the cards work just fine for me.

i use a notebook with hand drawn columns lol. i have however made a template on the computer since im about to go full time with this hobby. more snakes means more/better organization so the templates will come in handy to just write the scores in the boxes and all that. and id go for the super for your next ball, but choose what YOU want, not what the majority says. they're not going to be raising it, YOU will.. so its a matter of what'll make you happy! hope this helps. :)

I just use a small record keeping app called "Snake Keeper" it works great for keeping records of my 4 snakes. I'll upgrade to a larger record keeper once I start breeding and have many more snakes [emoji4]

I only have two balls so I've been using a notebook. I have a separate section for sheds, feedings, and weight. I prefer a notebook because I can have it right next to my scale... I have a very small counter haha.

Thanks so much for the helpful replies so quickly all :) and yeah I'm thinking of the male super too. I wonder if I ever get into breeding if him and my piebald would make any cool morphs? Not sure on how breeding works yet lol but ima do a ton of research.

I've been using Reptile Scan which was recommended here on BP net and I love it! Very easy to use and I can use my iPhone, iPad, and Mac book to access my records from anywhere.

Here's an older thread about it too. I posted the sheets we use.

I wanted to use index cards or something, but my boyfriend just set up a Google Document instead linked to our Gmail. It's easy to use
