Allegedly a Pastel? Please help!

Good evening all!

I was just wondering if anyone could help me figure out if my little girl is a pastel or just a really light-colored normal?

I bought her from my local reptile store and the employees thought she was a pastel. Every picture that comes up on Google of pastels looks much lighter.

And I'm not sure if you guys can see, but it looks like from her belly towards her spine, her coloration goes from a whitish-cream color and pixellates up into her darker coloration....

I'd appreciate your inputs!!

She looks like a completely normal pastel adult to me! A lot of pastels look just like that by the time they are that big.

I would say dull pastel.

Looks pastel to me. In the first pics she is in shed right?

Yes, and I was having issues with the mister I was using. Got her a bigger water bowl and humidity became normal again! (Cuz I never realized she was wrinkling so badly in that pic before)

pastel, but not the best example of it.

btw, she seems to be lean....not thin mind you, just lean. she looks healthy, just not as plump as a well fed ball python.........

Yea you get a few rats into her and she'll be a fatty in no time. If she isn't being used for breeding it's ok if she's on the leaner side too though. :gj:
