    Bigger enclosure
My ball python is almost 3 feet, and about 650g. I'm looking at getting a bigger enclosure for him soon. I have a 20 gallon long right now, and i assume it will be too small for him very soon. I was wondering what might be recommended (and less than $200 if possible). And how much longer do you think i could keep him in a 20 gallon?

So a 20 gal should be alright for a while? We were told by many people that he should be good for 2-3 years, and then we should get a bigger tank. I just thought he looked kinda big for the tank he is in. I was also looking at a zilla 40 gal that is $150.

A 20 gallon might be a little small. Your BP should have enougj room to strech out.

If you're going to upgrade, don't waste your money on a glass terrarium. Look into PVC enclosures like Animal Plastics. It's a lot easier to keep temps and humidity in a fully enclosed terrarium. Plus, they look much more appealing. It's $200 total for an Animal Plastics T8 which is 48x24x12 and should be good for the rest of your BP's life.

    Here's a thread on PVCs
