If you see something realy beautiful

Heya,

there is gonna be a reptile show here in Holland close to where i live, now i was wondering what you guys/girls do when you find a ball python and you realy are like "wow" or "damn, that is a good example of the morph" or something like that but it doesnt fit in your breeding plans. Would you still buy it if you got some empty tubs in your rack or would you not buy it?

I am asking this as it is gonna be my first reptile show since 4 years ago when i was forced to stop with the hobby cause i had to move. And i am sure i am gonna see bp females that are gonna make it hard for me to say no too them ;)

But then again i guess there is always a way to fit a pretty lady in your breeding plans, right?

I used to but now it's really a matter of being focus on my projects and nothing else.

Yeah i know what you mean but i do not have that many bp's yet so i guess for me as it is right now i would be ok to do so.

as i would like to have a bit diverse gene pool/morphs.

I guess i'll have to see what happens sunday when the reptile show is, it is only a small show so could very well be there isnt a bp to my likings;) but i am going anyways cause i need a couple bigger heath mats for a new rack i am building with bigger tubs.

I'm trying not to get over-run also :) I've tried to narrow down to a few things, and keep it to that. But then again, if I saw something that was a good deal and I liked it, I may just get it (I got a male ivory over a year ago for $300 because it was a good deal, and I liked him :) with really no plans or girls for him yet, but I like him )

I can hold myself back if its a male that does not fit my breeding plans. If its a female that makes me stop in my tracks though...I will find a way to fit it into the plan somehow.
