How To Tell if a Ball Python Didn't Shed His Eye Caps?
I'm really new to keeping snakes. I've got one ball python and he had his first shed this morning. It all came off in one clean piece! So, it was a good shed. But I hear about snakes not shedding their eye caps. How do you tell if they didn't shed them? Is it pretty obvious or do you kind of have really look?
    Thanks. :)

Look at the head portion of the shed. You should see the eye caps in place if it was an easy shed.

If not the eyes will look dull compared to the rest of the snakes fresh skin. If you had a good shed they are probably not stuck.
