I'm not an anaconda keeper anymore but I'll toss in a picture of my boy back when I had him. He was such a sweetheart but would randomly rip into me about once a year - excluding the taming process when he was a neonate. One of the few snakes I could simply never read in that regard. When he was not in the mood to be held he would just musk 99% of the time and even that was rare. Those random occurrences though, no warning whatsoever, he'd just turn his head into me and give a good slash then go right back to being his typically placid self. I've never had a better snake for just chilling out with either. He wasn't big on roaming or exploring and would sit in my lap for hours while I did homework or watched television. I still rue the day I had to find him a new home but such is life sometimes. I often toy with the idea of getting another one but it somehow feels like I'd be cheating on his memory. I got my yellow when I was still a child and he was with me into adulthood. Writing this fills me with nostalgia and makes me wish he was here just to give me one of those bloody kisses. There will always be a soft spot in my heart for notaeus.
