Left freezer door a little open
I left my freezer door partially open since Tuesday. This is about how open it was:

I had to throw out an open large pinkie bag because it was completely rotten.(It was right on the freezer door)

Here are the pics of the rest of my supply. The rats don't smell bad but are a little bloody but cold. I'm not sure. This is worth more than $100. More money then I have atm.

Defrost one to see what it is like.

but if the door was open for 5 days I wouldn't hold out much hope they can be saved.

Alright. I normally feed one of my balls today. If it doesn't look bad unfrosted I'll try feeding it to him. What should I be looking for? Beside the smell

Alright. I completely thawed it. It doesn't smell bad it looks normal too. I may have been really lucky. Gonna fed him now. Tomorrow I fed 7 of my ball pythons so I'll really be able to test it then.

    UPDATE:
He ate it right away. There were no rips or tears in the rat.

With that many packed in tightly, you might have got lucky and they all insulated each other just enough not to spoil. 5 days is pushing it, but unless they were exposed to extreme heat that whole time, I wouldn't worry. Get a latch for that door! :P

Ya it's an old freezer my dad lets me use. When my dad gets back from vacation I'll ask him to help me make one xD

Meanwhile put something heavy in the front to keep it close. Good luck!

Problem is it is a fringe. So, I'm just gonna put heavy tape on the freezer part.

It's probably not level. Try leveling the freezer, on a very slight tilt so that the door shuts on it's own. Just raise the front about 1/4" or so higher than the back.
