Black Ball Python Morph

There is someone trying to sell this ball python on one of my Facebook groups, says it is a Black Ball Python Morph. Really:confusd: Is there even such a thing? Looks like a normal to me :confusd: Just wanted some expert opinions.

It looks normal to me, I would let the group administrators know what’s going on and let them deal with the person also look for that person’s name in the BOIs and see if they have done this before.

You could also just try talking to the person. Could just be someone selling something they were given bad information about. Just because they might be wrong about what they got doesn't mean they were intentionally lying about it so just talking to them could correct the ad instead of having to deal with the group administrators.

There are black pastels or black backs. That one looks like neither to me but it is also a bad picture.

If you want to "call him out" without actually calling him out, ask for clarification on the morph and better pictures. Is it black pastel, black back, black head...

Could be a low quality black back. Black backs aren't really considered morphs, even though there are plenty out there that are genetic. From the color and look, it looks like a normal though. I would just ask him what the parents were, and who told him that it was a black ball. As previously mentioned, find out more about him before throwing him under the bus :gj:!
