Belated New Snake Day & Progression Thread - Sebastian, the Blue-Eyed Leucistic!
    Hi, all!

Before I start, I just want to give a quick shout out to Ben Renick of Renick Reptiles - he was very friendly, answered all of my questions, cut me a sweet deal, shipped promptly and carefully and... delivered an absolutely gorgeous blue-eyed leucistic! Thank you, Ben!

Anyway, Sebastian is a 2014-born blue-eyed leucistic (Lesser/Mojave, if I recall correctly,) and he arrived this past Wednesday, 8/27/14. He's quite an interesting fellow! He doesn't seem to like using his hides very much. Rather, he spends most of his time outside of them, and he loves climbing on his temperature and humidity gauges!

He's just a little thing. Weighs in at 73g.

I snapped a couple of quick pics for you guys to view. I'll take some higher-quality ones as time goes on, but I don't want to stress him right now.

A nice photo that Ben took prior to shipping:

I know the temperature is looking a little cool, but I assure you, it's at 84* F. :gj:

Thanks! For now, he's going to be a pet. Not certain if breeding is something I can do due to space and time constraints, but I'm certainly intrigued by it!

My ball python used to always climb on the thermometer i had in my tank. I have since taken it down (because he got kinda big, and the thermometer would start to come off) and got a digital thermometer. I didn't know if it was a common thing amongst ball pythons. Anyway, thats a beautiful blue eyed leucistic! I hope to see more pics as he grows up!
