Hello people!
I'm not sure if husbandry would be the right forum to place this question but lately I'm worried about my ball python. He's about a year and a half old and his behaviors are pretty standard usually. Lately, however, he's been out of his hide most of the time and seems like he is doing whatever he can to be as close to the top of his enclosure/to his heat lamp as possible. His temperature gradient hasn't been altered at all recently even though I changed the bulb, all temps are still the same. I am worried he isn't getting enough warmth and maybe that's why he's so close to the top near his lamp. I'm also worried that he is needing more food. When is it appropriate to increase his portion sizes? Could it be that he is hungrier and is wanting more food? Any suggestions or advice would be very much appreciated! Please and thank you
