    Is my snake ok?
    is fir bark substrate okay for bp's? i sent my g/f to get some and this is what she brought back.

    i know cedar and pine can kill them, but unshure about fir. the back states it is good all sorts of reptiles, and even lists blood pythons, boas, ghekos, and a few other kinds of snakes, but no mention of ball pythins. just wanted to double check before i toss it in with my snake.

    Not very absorbent & scary if ingested...works better for orchid potting. ;)

    i do not feed my snakes in their enclosures. brown cardboard box every feed. have humid hides so absorption not an issue. just want to make sure that it is'nt harmful like pine or cedar is.
