    I was thinking something like that. My cousins friend is trying to get rid of it and keeps saying it's a "tree snake." I knew it definitely wasn't a tree snake but wasn't 100% sure as I'm only seasoned in BPs lol

    Cali Kings are fun. Usually inexpensive, easy to keep, eat anything, etc.

    While not an arboreal species, they do climb; when one of mine escaped I found her hanging from a light switch.

    I have heard about that as well, but from what I heard its usually a rare occurrence
    they are also cannibalistic

    Yeahhhhh. I read that too.
    Thinking of maybe setting up some QT for this guy and taking him in as a pet but I'm not sure. The more I hear about its current husbandry, the more I want to of course. They apparently microwave frozen thawed mice...

    Do eeet!! They are awesome snakes. I have one and can't say enough about their awesomeness. Mine likes to attempt eating me sometimes when he's super hungry. :)
