Can some please clarify if "PH" means "Possible Heterozygous" or "Proven Heterozygous." Thanks in advance for your time and consideration. :)

PH Pied = Possible Het Pied.
If you breed a Piebald to a Normal. You will get half Het Pied and Half Normal. Since the hets and normals look the same you have Possible Het animals untill they breed with anther Het or visual Pied to prove that they in fact carry the gene.

If you breed piebald x normal you get all 100% hets.
