See-inside Hides for BPs?
Hi all,
Apologies if this has been covered already; I searched with no luck. I am curious as to whether or not anyone has had experience with using ball python hides that a human can peek into, such as LLLReptiles’ Crystal Caves or something else that goes up against the glass of an enclosure.
I’d love to be able to see my snake while he/she is in the hide, but I also feel like that would sort of defeat the purpose of a hide :P The last thing I want to do is compromise the snake’s sanctuary. I also considered building something with mirrors and red light but that all just sounds convoluted and impractical.
Any input would be appreciated; I like looking at snakes. :) Thanks!

Thanks Deborah - That leads to a follow-up question then; I've read that you should not disturb them when in their hides. But if they're in there most of the time... You never get to hold them? :P

Interesting. Thank you for the insight. :)
