    Yet another Morph Help question...
Can anyone help me out? Not sure what morph, if any, this little guy is. Corns are not my forte. His (her?) belly is a perfect checkerboard, too. Adorable is not a morph, is it? Thanks!

I looked it up, and it sounds right, especially with the bits of yellow he's starting to get on his jaws. I appreciate the feedback!

While yellow is often associated with anery type A, it can also be found on anery type B, so not the best distinguisher. The dead giveaway that yours is type A are the eyes. Anery type B (charcoals) will have almost solid black eyes with very dark irises, whereas anery type A has the grey/silver irises like yours.

Thank you :) I love his eyes.

While this is typically true.... it is not always. My Vanay, a proven charcoal, had light eyes.

And anery A can have dark eyes as well.

The key difference is level of contrast. Charcoals are low-contrast snakes. The saddle color and ground color are much more similar than the stark dark-light of a young anery.

For example, this is one of last year's charcoal hatchlings at 6 months old.
