    Dropping the temps
Hey everybody, I have a little question on dropping the temperatures on my BPs and Boas. I have always done temp drops at night like everybody eles, but I met this guy who just turned of his heat all together and let his room temp control the outcome. Is this useful? It would shore save me money in electricity. Oh and heres the boa litter just out

Depends on how cold your room gets...If it gets too cold you run the risk of RI's.

I have never dropped temps and never had a problem with breeding or anything else.

75 - 78 should be ok....you will have to try it and see how it goes. Personally, I would not change what you have been doing. Ball Pythons don't seem to like change, not sure about boas.

I decided not to drop temps this year and my first few bp clutches had a higher than expected amount of slugs. Not sure if the root cause was due to temps but I am going back to dropping temps at night. Typically I drop temps to about 78.
