Depends on the snake.
Growth = shedding
Young snakes if fed properly will shed often, adults will not shed as often.
So is your snake an hatchling? How big is it? What are you feeding it and how often?

Yep all depends on the size of the snake, what you are feeding it, and how often

He's about 25 inches long. And he's been fed 3 times now, he was fed twice at the place I got him, the first time he ate a fuzzie, the second time he ate 2 fuzzies. When I took him home he wouldn't eat for awhile because he was so stressed out . I was able to fed him on Friday 2 fuzzies. And I'm planning on feeding him every week if he will eat for me

Re: shedding
I got my snake at about a month old and she's now almost 6 months old and she's just now going into her second shed I've witnessed. It just depends on many factors.

I would probably be feeding him rat pups

Yeah i tried the rats and he doesn't like them , the only thing I could get him to eat so far is the frozen mice

Well that is your answer you are under feeding him so he is not growing the way he should and not shedding.
Mice are fine, I am a firm believer to feed what works however you need to feed the right size.
Fuzzies are WAY too small even an hatchling out of the egg get a hopper and than move quickly to adult mice.
You need to start feeding a prey that is equal your snake's girth size. (Widest part of your BP's body)
