    Future potential breeding
So my little girl only hatched last December. She's about 2 feet 2 inches, so it will be awhile before she gets to breeding size. What I want to know, about breeding, (With the goal in mind to eventually breed myself a BEL), should I keep raising her until she gets to breeding size before I buy another one? Just so that I have more knowledge of husbandry before I expand my collection? Or should I buy her mate now and raise them in tandem? Or do males and females meet breeding requirements at different ages?

And finally, more of an opinion....

What do you think would be the best to combine with a pin? A butter, a lesser or a mojave?

Wait at least a year before buying your male. Usually it takes females at least 2 years to get up to size, but males will get up to size within a year typically.

Of the choices you listed, I'd go with a Mojave to pair with your Pinstripe. Jigsaws are cool.

I agree. I just bought a male jigsaw. When I opened the shipping box and bag all I could say is WOW. Jigsaws are great.
