    Little "hateling" baby...
Not sure if you guys use this term on BP.net, but on my corn forum they refer to mean babies as "hatelings." Get it? :D

Anyway, this little guy/girl was the last to emerge from my black pastel x normal clutch this morning... probably the nicest looking of the bunch, but what an attitude!! Couldn't get very close without being struck at, so I ended up having to use a towel just to get him/her out of the incubator. Even as a woman myself, with that kind of 'tude I will guess it's a female. LOL

(hard to get a good weight photo, but s/he is the "biggest" of the clutch @ 46g)

Yeah, this whole clutch was teeny tiny! They ranged in weight from like 34-46g, but all are perfectly healthy... and this baby isn't the only one who's tried to bite me, so I guess they have that Napoleon complex or something.

Kind of like a lot of other animals. I've met more dachshunds who wanted to eat me than rotties who wanted to eat me. Crazy little things!

Well, I did cut the eggs a week ago (after the first one pipped), and kept checking on this one since she was taking so long to hatch... so she's probably thinking "it's that scary monster who kept trying to steal me from the egg!!" Haha.

I was thinking more along the lines of us women always having a good reason for being pissy haha.

And Chihuahuas! My neighbor has two particularly nasty ones, who've tried to attack me (my shoe) and my 47lb mutt more than once... my dog will just stand there with a confused look on his face, but I've been tempted to punt the little beasts.

I guess the world looks scary from down there, so they have to over-compensate?

She should be a good feeder. The aggressive ones seem to eat the best in most cases.
