    How much should they weigh?
    How much should a male and female ball python way when they are fully grown at adult size?

    They should weigh anywhere from close to 1,000 grams for males to 2,500 grams or more for females.

    Smaller and larger snakes of either gender exist, of course. There is no set amount they should weigh, though. After about 3 years or so, if they are nice and round with good body condition (not obese and squishy but not super bony with a prominent spine), it's fair to consider them adults, and if after about 5 years or so they aren't getting any bigger, it's fair to consider them about as big as they're gonna get.

    Kinda like any other creature; they get as big as they're meant to get if you feed em right. :)
