    My new hide
I created a new hide for my ball python earlier, I made it using homemade clay and I've heated it using the oven, what I did was wait for it to cool up completely and spray it with paint, my question is when can I put it inside my snakes tub? I'm just worried regarding the paint itself, the smell of it and it's toxicity. It completely dried off but still, can I still put it inside right away or wait for the smell to get off quite a bit?

    Regards,

Are you saying that it's toxic? If so, I definitely wouldn't recommend putting it in the snake's enclosure.

I'd also be afraid of paint chipping off over time. If I were you, I would just run out and buy a hide from a local pet store.

    Re: My new hide
The thing about buying a hide for the snake seems a little bit impossible due to the place I live in, I've tried looking over the Internet, vets and pet stores but non of them had hides or anything that could work as a hide for the snake..or any other reptiles
