Bump on python nose. Looks like a pimple. Concern?
Long time snake handler and lurker of the forum, first time poster.

I agreed to purchase a real nice lesser breeder for my collection. After sending payment, the seller emailed me back to let me know of a bump on the snake's nose unnoticed until he started preparing the snake to head my way. It is thought possible it may have occurred shedding - maybe just a simple rub? At least wasn't there recently and not noticed until feeding after recent shed.

The guy selling it is a stand up guy. The price was a fair deal and he's offered to give me some money back/discount with the snake if I still want it. Hoping you have seen something like this before and hoping the answer is it is nothing. He has offered to give me one of his butters, which he wasn't planning to sell & I absolutely will not accept as he clearly is only offering it to make things right. Honesty alone makes things right with me and should come with punishment. I'll either accept his discount for a less than perfect snake or not accept it outright.

Here are couple pics of the "pimple". Any idea what this might be and any associated risks (for other snakes and itself), concerns or thoughts? Thanks!

    Wizard
It could be an abscess, I'd check in his mouth for drainage or a fistula.
