    new lil guy hurting himself
my new ball python is a few months old so naturally he's a little more active, i've only had him for 4 days now and i know that he's still getting used to his new enclosure and checking everything out, but once or twice a night when he's scouring the top of his enclosure he gets a little ahead of himself and falls. it's not too high of a fall, but i'm worried he may hurt himself before he even gets the chance to settle in. i've had to move him twice because i knew if i didn't he would fall from where he was. i don't want to stress him out, but is there any way i can prevent him from doing this?

Mine does the same thing. She's learning not to fall now. Just takes practice for them I guess. Mine's only a month old so it's been fun to watch. She's getting better and better

I wouldn't worry too much. They're not as fragile as you think. Some of mine still climb up on stuff and fall. No biggie.
