My 2 fire bees post shed
Finally got some post shed pictures of my 2 fire bees out of Clutch M. Both are female.
I'm really excited about these two, which were from a pastel x fire spider pairing.

This is M1, who has the more reduced pattern of the two.

And this is M3 a.k.a. "Trinity", who I will be holding on to because I am completely in love with her busy pattern.

Love these two girls. Can't wait to see Trinity when she starts getting some size to her.

    Thanks for looking. :)

Do they get more yellow with age?

I agree with your choice to hold back the wacky one. Fire to me is a pattern mutation more than color or cleaning. Great pics!

Honestly I don't know exactly what they'll do because these are the first I've seen in person. I knew I couldn't afford one outright so I put the pieces together by buying the fire spider to go with my pastel girl.

But from what I've seen picture-wise, the yellow does seem to become more intense as they get older. These girls actually have a bluish or greenish undertone to them along their backs that the camera does not pick up very well (you can kind of see it above Trinity's eyes but it is present to a lesser degree all the way down the dorsal area). I'm curious to see how that will evolve over time.

And this is how you splice two pictures when you want both snakes in the same shot but can't get them both to sit still at the same time. :D
