Aluminum Rack

Is there a reason not to use an aluminum cabinet to make a snake rack out of?
I was thinking of something like this-

Well it is made of metal.... Metal does conduct heat, so there is a chance you can really burn your snakes....

I was thinking of heat in the back and have shelves of something else that tubs sit on. Sound like its prob not a very good idea.

There's ways you definitely could modify to get close to an ars rack without the ars price

That looks like the carts we have for each wing for the food trays at the nursing home.

looks like more work than what its worth.... Unless your handy with aluminum welding

They were carts from a kitchen. I was looking at them at an auction. They sold for like $25 each.

For $25 I would pick one up just to see what I could do with it - but then, I like projects. Of course, I have too many unfinished ones at the moment... see avatar...

What's the distance between each of the supports?
