    Hides?
I am having trouble wih both my guys "falling out" of their hides....they lift them up and spill out of them....do the black reptile basics do that as well? Any recommendations for a sturdy hide?http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/08/14/9u6y3u6e.jpg

Without being obvious, possibly a bigger hide. Also consider making one out out Tupperware, doubles as humidity chamber. :)

Rocky prefers these...but he is much too big for them.... I actually like the tupperware idea instead of these plastic bowels.....will look around.

Awww looks like someone's outgrown their hide [emoji4] I have one that oozes out of his too but he doesn't like a bigger hide that's more suitable for his size so he just continues to ooze lol. You can try a bigger hide but if he keeps going to that one then you can just leave it :) it doesn't seem to bother him too much.

Some of mine will do that even when they could fit perfectly underneath (I use the RB hides). I call it "turtle-ing".

Sometimes they do this just so I can laugh at them. Sometimes they do this when they're ready for a bigger size. What I'd do is try a bigger size and see how it goes. As long as they keep eating with the bigger size, I'd leave it in there. If they start to refuse, I'd put the smaller one back in and let them have their fun.

    Silly turtl... er... snakes. :rolleye2:

clay flower pots work good too, just enlarge the hole in the bottom if it is too small for your snake, and you can always enlarge it as your snake grows...
