    First Litter
So Sunday I only had time to change the bedding in one of the tubs and planned to do the rest yesterday. Well went down last night to put water in my homemade watering system (came out awesome BTW) and change out the rest of the bedding in the tubs and BAM... there they were. 5 or 6 little pinks... I still am not sure how to verify pregnant females so for right now I am not pulling them. Once I figure this all out, I will start to segregate. I have 1 spare tub and 2 small tanks setup as birthing tanks...

Didnt grab pics but either way... still stoked.

Any advice on telling which ones are absolutely pregnant?

How do I tell which one is the mother and should I pull them?

Im on a 1:4 colony setup

When you pick your female up by the tail she will be VERY pear shaped with a big distended belly and you should be able to see the nipples prominently if she is heavily pregnant. This is the best indicator. Start checking about 20 days after you put her with the male.
