Will this work to make my bearded dragon cage?
I thought that I'd be able to make a basic frame out of some nice looking wood then line all the sides with white abs plastic to keep the heat in well and give it a nice look on top of making it brighter. then use slate tile as the flooring and have an aluminum panel for the top so I can have light fixtures. Then I was going to have either flip down plexi glass for the front or use a sliding glass door. But I'm not entirely sure on how to go about this. What other supplies would I need? What else would I need to do in terms of ventilation and such? How should I get the abs plastic to connect with the wood? Will this idea and work? Btw it's going to be 48 x 20 x 24

It seems like you would either have to create a channel for the ABS to sit in or screw it directly to the wood. Either way you would need to seal it. If you are going to go with ABS or any other plastic, why not just get the panels thick enough and screw them together, and seal the seams that way?
