10 day feeding schedule?

My ball python is about 1 year and a few months old and I've been feeding him every 7 days (i don't have a scale with me right now so i can't tell you how much he weighs) Is it about time to switch him to 10 day feeding schedule? or should i wait. I've tried googleing it and i got like 3 different answers

In my opinion a 10 day schedule is fine for a pet. If your trying to breed I would probably stick to 7 day.

As long as you are feeding the proper sized prey for a ten day feeding schedule you are fine to do so.

I determine feeding schedule by the snake. If all my snakes feed consistently on a 7 day schedule then that's what they get. Of some don't feed consistently on 7 days then you can move them to 10 days and so on. I have 4 snakes, 3 eat every 7 days since they are still young only about a year old and my last which is 7yrs old eats whenever he wants. So he actually doesn't have a schedule at all. He just doesn't eat very much so to cut down on wasted feeders I don't have him on a schedule. But just try and find a balance that works/is easy for you and is best for your snakes as a whole/individually. [emoji4]

Schedules are really only for the keepers. Realistically I'm happy if my balls eat twice a month. Some eat 4-5 times a month. Some will only eat once a month. I don't really worry too much, they're all still healthy :)
