    Few BP questions
    1. I know I can keep an adult male in a 30qt tub, but what about an adult female?

    2. Which gender has fewer eating problems?(if there is even a difference)

3.how long does it take for a hatchling bp to move onto rats? (6 months, 1 year, 2 years ect.)

all questions do not have to be answered in one post. Any info is appreciated.
this forum has been awesome and I never hesitate to ask any questions! Thanks everyone!😎

    1. Most people keep the females in 42qt tubs.

    2. I don't think either gender really has more problems. It all depends on the individual snake.

    3. Hatchling BPs can be started on rats right out of the egg.

    Hope that helps :)

    • Males 30 quarts - Large females 41 quarts
    • Food refusal is not gender specific this is what they do at one point or another.
    • Anytime as early as 2 week after being out of the eggs (which is when breeders start offering food)

Do you guys mean adult rats as hatchlings? Or did you mean rat pups.

Rat crawlers, pups are too big and obviously so are adult rats.
