    my blood python is in preshed ,milky. but he is sitting on his side with whole body .i freaked so hard i tought he was dead. what does this mean?

    Please don't worry! This is a thing lots of bloods and short tails do when shedding. Mine hasn't done it before but I have 3 friends with bloods that will do this regularly when getting ready to shed. Not really sure why they do this though... maybe it's more comfortable?

    Bloods and short tails are just odd like that.

    Yes, the first time I saw one of my bloods do that, I thought it was dead. I was rewarded with some good hissing when I poked her though. :D They are odd critters sometimes...
