Female Shedding Every Month?

We have a female that we've paired twice. She is so muscular it's hard to feel any follicles in her. We haven't observed any signs of her being gravid. She's gained about 200grams (1800 to 2000) in less than three months and has shed every month for three months almost exactly 30 days apart. Is it unusual for adult ball pythons to shed this often?

You typically think of hatchlings shedding more often than adults. It sounds like she's just put on weight at a pretty good rate. I don't think it wound be anything to worry about.
