    Garter Snake Babies
So, we've had 2 garter snakes for about 3 weeks. We went down to feed them today and found 17 babies (there were 18 but one had died). This was very unexpected. So, what do I do with these little worms? They're pretty cute but I don't need 19 garter snakes. Anything in particular I need to know about them? TIA!!

I'd check this article out. Seems to be a lot of good info. Also if you don't want anymore babies I wouldn't keep them together. You should be able to raise them and maybe sell some for cheap or freebies depending on laws and such.

Plus if you decide to give some away I would possibly take one off your hands.

You said you've had them about 3 weeks? Are they wild caught? If they are, to be honest I would just find a nice wooded spot outside to put all the babies in. They are wild; they will figure it out.

True. If they're a native species you could always do that.

They were wild caught. We ended up releasing all of them, except two babies in a nature preserve by my house. Thank you guys for your help! The two babies we have are little piglets.

Colton, if you'd like one, you're welcome to it. My boyfriend (who was previously scared of snakes), has decided he wanted to keep one. The other one is all yours, just let me know!
