eh?? ehhhhhh?? ehhhhhh!!?? i hope everything looks ok! if you see somethin bad, lemme know.

i havent drilled airholes or made an opening to the bigger pot yet. dont worry, i will. my dad is going to do it for me.

even though i still have 2 weeks i'm like "COME ON, IT NEEDS TO BE READY NOW!!"

Did you know you can just use the Acurite for both your hot and cold side temps by just moving the probe to one end and the main readout to the other? If so cool, if not I thought I might to be able to save you a little money with your second thermometer there:)

I noticed that too...also, I usually tape the probe to the bottom of the enclosure so I get a surface temp near the hide (or I place it right under the hide near the edge).

I found that Target has a better selection of Sterlites than Walmart....I know, I'm a traitor!! We had been trying to find a box that wasn't too deep but had more length, and we found what we were looking for there. Relatively inexpensive, about the same that Wally World charges.

Looks nice! I second the idea of saving money on the AcuRites, though, and I'd avoid using the sticky pads inside the enclosure. You can just set it down flat on one end, and if s/he tend to move it around, you can use a hide to kinda keep it in one place.
