    Hey, we're back!!!
Ball-Pythons.net suffered an attack last evening that totally destroyed our forum database. Our attackers, whoever they were, were able to gain Admin access to our site and completely delete our databases. We were able to recover our database from a week previous to today's date. We apologize for the downtime and the lost posts. Any user that registered in the time between September 16, 2004 and today will need to re-register. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Anything that's gone, including PM's and threads and new users, is gone. This is as restored as we're going to get. A big thanks to the host rep who helped restore despite the fact he was supposed to be at his daughter's birthday party.

Smynx has been right here working with us, too, since 10 minutes after she woke up this morning. She may not be able to do some of the tech stuff, but she has definitely been working.
