    Unusual Poop
Spot cleaned my BP's tank today and there was a long (3.5 inchs) turd that was not the usual color or size. It was very light grey (the mouse I fed him was white) and seemed almost like a shriveled up mouse. I didn't notice any bones or anything like that still in tact. It was just very long and strange looking. He refused his meal a few days ago (it was a bit large, so I thought it was just too big for him). Tried again today, and he was not interested what so ever, he is usually a very vigorous eater.

Sometimes they will pass fur or anything that their body just doesn't need. However, him being off feed just after a strange movement could lead me to believe he's maybe having a parasite issue. I would take him to the vet for a fecal, asap. did you get rid of the strange poop already?

Sorry for not being able to reply sooner, I've had a busy couple of days.

    I didn't keep the poo.

Turns out he was starting to shed, that could explain the food refusal. I am going to wait a while and see what happens after he eats next time. All three of my BP's are shedding at the same time, what are the chances? haha.

We have had snakes crap some long thick dog turds before. Most are brown but have had some discolored raunchy ones before. Hopefully it isnt parasites and he is just fine!

If the food item was too large it could cause it as well... I just did this with my redtail. Took the food no issue but was just too much mass for him.
