    Dented right eye
    Hey guys,

not sure if this is the right forum section to be asking about a dented eye on my baby ball, but im not sure where it falls under..

Heres the thing, both my adult and baby shed this passed weekend and they both had perfect sheds, both eye caps on both snakes came off but i noticed my little guy has a dent in his right eye.

I have read somewhere that humidity plays a part in this and i noticed originally that his eye was dented when he was in blue.. His humidity was around the 80 mark, so i figured it will go when his caps come off but he's perfectly shed.. caps and all and that dent is still there.. Will this go away with the next shed? Or is it something i should be worried about ?

    thanks

What are you using to measure humidity?

Mist him and it'll be gone. From then on give more humidity

Im using an all living things digital thermometer and hygrometer to keep an eye on things, and his humidity is always sitting between 56-61 throughout the day everyday. (Unless in shed of course)

Post shed i Kept his humidity levels around 78-80 still to see if it would help and it hasn't done anything in terms of bringing that eye back to normal.. I even wrapped him in a wet towel but he was having none of that.. :/

Im not sure what else to do here, I'll try misting him and see

I switched from those to the national geographic ones because of inaccuracy. A little pricier but worth it.

I don't even use them anymore. Just must during sheds

    Could be dehydration as well.
