Question on bulk order of rats

I ordered a bulk of rats and received them the other day. I will first say Big Cheese Rodents is A+ in my book! I will be ordering again when I need to!

Now this may sound like a dumb question, since all the rats are one a styrofoam base and then heat wrapped, after I cut it open to get one rat out the rest will be exposed to air which will obviously cause freezer burn since in freezer. Do you guys just then rewrap them with cyran wrap or is freezer burn ok?

I just put them all into plastic freezer bags, sandwich bag sized and then put them into a large gallon freezer bag. They've been fine so far that way. Saran Wrap should be fine too.

I have to agree that Big Cheese is great! Their pricing is good and if I order by Sunday I get them on Thursday or Friday. When I open a tray I then put them in a large freezer bag inside another bag.

Just use ziplock freezer bags. Double them up if your paranoid about freezer burn.

I vacuum seal mine closed but I am sure a regular ziplock will do the trick.
