Nothing to worry about?

So today I went and checked on kalua and she seemed her normal self. Balled up more when I lifted the hide probably just being cautious. However when I went to pet her on her side to let her know it was me and not a predator she did make like a wheezing sound once or twice. More like when your nose is half way plugged and you try and breathe through it. But she wasn't making it before I pet her and she didn't make it once I picked her up

I would keep an eye on her just in case for a respiratory infection. Watch for bubbles, open mouth, mucus on lips, etc. Otherwise it could be stuck shed in her nostrils or she was hissing. Make sure to keep your temps up. Low 90s, high high 80s on the warm side, mid 70s on the cool side. I don't let my cool side drop below 75. I'd rather my cool side be at 80 than 70.

Based on the new thermostat I picked up. The humidity is at 59. Ambient temp is 84 and hot side is 87. I looked her over really good I didn't see anything out of the ordinary

She could have been telling me that. If it was a hiss I found it more cute than threatening. Hope she isn't offended that I didn't take her seriously haha. As of right now cool side is 82 hot is 90 and humidity is 69. It does get rather hot in my house during the day due to no a/c right now but I don't think it's that hot haha

Yeah only thing to watch out for if they make a wheezing noise is a Respiratory infection. Check for mucus bubbles around/in the mouth area. But it sounds like she was just hissin at you a little bit :)

My male (Demascus) has had something similar since I got him. Took him to the vet 4 times now. No RI but it persist. Could just be a loose scale in the nose.
