What would you do?

I currently have an equal amount of males as females. Two of my males are "betrothed" to their respective het females so I really only have a male lesser, male mojo and a wee male g-stripe. Not much in the way of variety.

I work for a local breeder who has an ENCHI male that I just fell in love with. He has him priced at $75 but I get smokin' deals considering I'm an employee. My female lemon pastel is nearly up to size which is what I'd pair him to initially. So I'm curious to know what you guys would do. Would you go for the single gene male? I think his quality is amazing.

I mean it IS only 75$!!! Not to much to loose! Since your not banking on any "possible hets"

Id say go for it! :gj: (Cheaper then 99% of the 70g normal's from petco/petsmart)

I would not pass up on that guy for that price. He is a fantastic example of the enchi morph and in my opinion enchi is one of the best enhancer morphs out there.

Well you did say you fell in love with. If you have extra room then I say go for it. I bought a female enchi few days ago and she is a sweet monster! Make sure he is eating tho. I really hate picking up something and they go hunger strike for 3+ weeks.

It's a killer price. and I think he said because I'm an employee I get 25% off snakes (and free frozen rats as he breeds his own) or something along those lines.

Isn't he the best? Such clean banding. I love it. Him and my lemon pastel would make SMOKING babies.

Btw, is lemon pastel the same as citrus pastel? I've tried inputting lemon pastel into the genetic wizard and can never get the full link, ya know? the combos are always broken up into like "ENCHI" (space) "lemon pastel"

True. I definitely have the extra space, that's no problem at all. this guy is probably about 250g (so he prob will brown out more with some weight). Definitely still has the "gimme gimme gimme" when food is around.
