    Feeding ?
I got my first BP 7/14/14, she's about 18 inches long so I'm roughly guestimating 5-6 months old? I fed her 7/17, and weighed her before feeding her today 94g.

I fed her a 10g mouse today so it's been 6 days in between feedings, am I feeding her enough, or should I be feeding more frequently? I feel like her weight is really low, but I have no clue what a good weight would be since I don't know exactly her age.
    Any help/info greatly appreciated.

I am sure I am not alone when I feed my babies and juvies on a 5 days schedule. I feed mine usually 15% of body weight cause they are all voracious eaters. Feeding 10-15% every 5 days is absolutely fine.

I am cheap and use Iherp to track my feedings and such. There are apps to do such a thing to help maintain accuracy.

    Hope this helps.

^ This, but tbh untill 300-400g i offer every 3-4 days. You will even notice they will very rarley deficate only on shed, as they take every bit of nutrients from food. When they hit 400-600 i give a solid 4 day meal, and after that

1 Small mouse every 5 days (males get smalls for every and once they hit 1000g i offer every 7 days.)

Females still on small till 1400 grams, then they get Med (again i stop at this size no matter how big) Offer them every 6 days,

Hmmm I might step mine up a bit cause I have a 300+ g female normal I dont think is so normal. She eats 2-30g pups with NO issue... She is still sketch but I leave 1 come back 30 later and leave another. Always gone.

    Re: Feeding ?
So I should stick to feeding every 5 days until she gets a good weight on her? I feed f/t, idk if that matters or not, and today after I fed her she kind of looked at me like she wanted more, but I didn't want to over feed her by giving her another.

At 94 grams this estimate is a month or two at the very most, granted the animal was started right after it's first shed and was fed an appropriate size prey.

Average hatchling out of the egg is about 70 grams more or less.

At this size your BP can take down a medium to adult mouse, simply feed a prey equal it's girth size (no need to weigh the snake or the prey every time)

This is before I fed today, based off of girth I've been feeding her smalls, I honestly don't think she could handle a medium just yet.
My only real concern is that she's so long and looks so skinny (to me) but maybe it's just because I've only seen two others(other than the pictures on here) and they were fat?
I just want a nice healthy girl (:

I would feed every 3-4 days. Until 300-400grams

at 400-600 grams feed every 4-5 days.

    at 600-1000 feed every 5

at 1000+ feed every 6 (Thats is how i do. if they take they take if not, next feeding schedule i offer.

Just an update since I normally stick to her thread, chunk butt here has started on medium mice (when she doesn't play with them lol) and has almost gained 100g in a month (: thanks for all your help guys, without you I'd be in the dark still feeding her hoppers or something! Lol.
