Went to wally world yesterday to buy some tupperware upgrades (Benny, Betty and Sesha need more room) and snagged the last 3 huge clear sterilite containers and lids. Sure they were on the top shelf and NO I didn't ask for assistance because I enjoy creating massive landslides of plastic goods - enjoy those inspector Closeau moments of self-humiliation.

But when I went to snag another 9.99 heating pad i discovered to my horror that THEY NOW HAVE AUTO-SHUTOFF!!

This is one "free product enhancement" we could REALLY do without!

If anyone else notices this - or that your neighborhood wally-world still has the old ones we hold so dear SNAG THEM AND STOCK UP.

Well if you have any clue what you are doing that will not happen. Do you think a human heating pad is ment to be used under a reptile encloursure? UM how about a big ol bag of NO!

I used heating pads when I first started and hated them because the on I had developed intense hot spots...

I've had to revert to the (semi)local Target - they still have the no-auto-shutoff round here.

Walgreen has some that you have the option if it turning off after 2 hours, or it being on all the time. The human heatpad didn't really provide enough heat for my bp though, so I don't use it. Also, that heatpad was a little on the expensive side.
