I noticed that they are really different from each other, so I was wondering if there is some others gene or is just because one is older than the other one?

I would say they are both pastels. Some just have more yellow or brighter colors than others. The first pastel could just have weak genes. Both snake are really beautiful I don't think you have to be worried!!

I have no clue what's going on with stuff like that but I cant help but wonder if the first one could have been produced from a lot of pastel to normal breeding and the normal happened to have some pattern reduction. My guess is that the second one had some black pastel in it's lineage based on the darker colors and that shape of pattern. This is just a guess of mine. It's probably what I look forward to figuring out the most about breeding.
