    Would it be okay to use eucalyptus wood to build my ball python cage. I was planning on sealing it too. This is the wood I was looking at: http://m.homedepot.com/p/1-8-in-x-48...562/204727075/

    I don't know for sure, but you can use plywood, as long as you seal it.

    I have 3 wood cages. I line the interior with linoleum and then seal the edges with aquarium silicone.

    This is what I have made my last couple racks out of because the smooth side is also water resistant/sealed

    what are you planning on making a frame out of? You know that will not be strong or thick enough to use on its own?
