Today she was doing this, is this building behavior and if so should I keep pairing her?

    Re: my first lock.....ever
So I have been pairing her since July and for the past 2 weeks she has refused food. This is a snake that never misses a meal....ever. She will sometimes eat the left overs. Does this mean she is building? I try to palpate her follicles, but she tenses up and makes it impossible for me to feel anything. She has gained a lot of weight since July.....she was 1575g in July and last week she was 2075g. Please any information will be greatly appreciated. This is our first breeding season.

If she has ovulated, i feel like i missed it. and should i keep pairing her even though she is not eating?

Sounds like you are probably good already. If your using your male for any other females you could probably stop him to this one, so that you don't wear him out.
