    Need help building a rack!
Ive been wanting to upgrade from a tank to some sort of rack for awhile but the ones ive seen online are too expensive. I would like to have one that has room for 4 tubs but i want it to be 2 tubs wide and 2 tubs tall. It would need to be big enough for my Adult Female Normal and im buying another BP soon. What would be good materials to build it out of? Where could i get everything i need? How much would it cost? Or is there a design thats been posted on here that is like what i want?

There are plenty of good guides on this forum of how to make them, search in the DIY section and there are some really cracking ones.

4'x8' sheet of finished plywood is 50 bucks and will make a 4 32qt rack. Plenty of plans in the diy forums

What size container would be big enough for an adult female ball python?

A lot of people use 61qt tubs.

I can tell you you would need a 41qt to satisfy an adult female.

With that said you want 2 wide and 2 tall...

Off the top of my head (sorry its how I do things) you need the following.

3- shelves 33w x 35d (1 will be a top - I dont make tops that ride on top of the sides - too much for homedepot to mess up)

    2- sides 15h x 35d

That will allow 2 wide and 2 tall..

I allowed an inch of space between the tips so you can take 5.75inch x 35inch pieces to use as spacers to prevent sag.

Because of the way you want it it will take 2 sheets.

If you send me your email I can send you my cut sheet for a 5 shelf 32 I made. I posted pics here... search my name. 32 will be fine if you have no plans on breeding and dont end up with 8kg females.
